Exactly how steamy is this story?

Like any good PG book, there're plenty of references to sex to keep mature audiences giggling without making the innocent blush. Okay, maybe blush a little. There are a couple of kisses and flirtations, but Mik doesn't take anything to the bedroom. In fact, the closest we get to a steamy scene is second base, but even that makes Mik squirm away from Gale. We get the feeling that Mik's interested in what happens behind closed doors, but she's not ready for it yet—so neither is the book.
