Dan the bandit

Dan is your typical bandit leader—conniving, lawless, and operating with a serious mean streak. When he comes to the academy to take the future princess ransom, it seems as though the girls are toast—after all, they're trapped by fifteen grown men who won't hesitate to snap their necks if they misbehave.

But as intimidating as Dan is, Miri still manages to gain the upper-hand with her blend of smarts and ability to use quarry-speech, so in the end, Dan is no match for a bunch of little girls. Guess he's not such a tough guy after all, though he definitely gets in the way for a bit.
