Tutor Olana

To be honest, we wouldn't want Tutor Olana as our teacher—she's extremely strict, quick to punish the girls, and has very high standards. But it's those same high standards that push the girls to grow and excel in their lessons. So though Miri may not like Tutor Olana at first, she comes to respect her and to appreciate the lessons that she's teaching them.

With Tutor Olana's guidance, a whole new world opens up—Miri learns about the history of Danland, commerce, and so many other things. She may not have the nicest teacher in the world, but she certainly has a good one… and perhaps a bit of inspiration for becoming a teacher herself.
