- How would the play change if the main characters were the robots rather than the humans?
- Does the play need the prologue? How would it change if the prologue were eliminated?
- Would R.U.R. work as a story rather than a play? What would have to change? What might you learn more about?
- How would the play change if the robots were less human in appearance—if they looked like C-3P0 from Star Wars, for example?
