A Palace Wedding
- Now that they're in England, it's time for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Helena and the other mice are busy behind the scenes, trying to get Princess Louise ready in time. They have their work cut out for them helping the new human lady-in-waiting, Lady Clementine Cumberbatch, too.
- Once the royal family is out of the palace, the mice arrive. Oodles of mice, in fact. They're all in Princess Louise's drawing room for a special wedding.
- Beatrice is all dressed up in her wedding dress and veil. Lamont walks her down the aisle like a good little bro, and Helena is pretty proud of being maid of honor. And Louise is a bridesmaid. Louise and Helena are neighbors these days, since the Henslowes live close by, which is just peachy for them.
- Oh and then there's the groom, Nigel. Looks like Helena convinced Beatrice to have a palace wedding, even if she's not marrying a mouse with a title.
- Beatrice and Nigel are married—yay—and now it's party time.
- Lord Peter, Mouse Equerry shows up and wants to dance. And who is he picking as his partner? Helena Cranston, of course. She's pretty happy. And pretty sure that Louise is jealous. And we're pretty sure that this is the end of the book (okay, just kidding—we're certain this is the end).
