Spoiler alert: if you haven't watched the movie, flee for a nice, quiet institution, where there are trees and happy smiling analysts and no spoilers or murderers anywhere.

If you have watched the movie—yeah, Dr. Murchison is the sneaky secret bad guy. Most of his antagonizing consists of being secret and furtive so you don't know he's the antagonist at all. But he does eventually pull out a gun, the way all antagonists do.
