- Norman's company, Oscorp, is competing with Quest Aerospace to create weapons and human performance enhancers for the military.
- Gen. Slocum gives Norman an ultimatum: he has two weeks to get his flawed performance enhancers working or else Slocum is giving the weapons contract to Quest.
- Norman tests Oscorp's performance enhancers on himself. They give him super strength and speed. They also make him a violent rage-monster. Whoops.
- Norman kills Dr. Stromm, then steals Oscorp's proprietary flight glider and armored flight suit. He has no memory of the murder afterward.
- The Green Goblin blows up Quest Aerospace's glider and flight suit, along with Gen. Slocum.
- The Oscorp board informs Norman that they've decided to sell Oscorp to Quest and that Norman's out.
