Who is the narrator, can she or he read minds, and, more importantly, can we trust her or him?
First Person (Central Narrator)
Because a memoir is the story of someone's life, it's usually written in first person, and Stitches is no exception. You feel like you're right there with David, experiencing his life as he does, especially since you see images of the characters with whom he's interacting. You can easily imagine sitting across from him listening to his story over coffee, gratefully accepting the tissue he offers you as you cry into your cappuccino.
