Sarah Connor

Despite losing top billing to a six-foot cyborg, Sarah Connor will be our protagonist today, because she is the character we want to see succeed the most. After all, the existence of the entire human race depends on her success, and being members of said human race, we can easily root for her to overcome the obstacles that confront her and save us.
