Exactly how steamy is this story?

The Color of Magic can be enjoyed pretty much no matter how old you are. As far as the steaminess is concerned, there are no acts of sex parents need worry over. A Game of Thrones this is not, people. But we've yet to meet a humorist or comedian who could put a kibosh on any and all off-colored jokes, and Terry Pratchett is no exception here.
For example, Liessa is described as "almost naked, except for a couple of mere scraps of the lightest chain mail and riding books of iridescent dragonhide" (3.5.7). Her fashion du jour is a play on the poorly clad vixens commonly found in the fantasy genre—you know, those women whose killer looks somehow compensate for a lack of killer protection.
In short, the semi-steamy moments are few and far between but technically present. Just thought we'd give all you parents the head's up.
