You know the phrase Two wrongs don't make a right? Well, something similar applies to WICKED in The Death Cure: two lies do not make a truth, contrary to what they might believe.
Almost everything told to the Gladers while they're in the Trials is some sort of lie, even if isn't a full, total lie. But then again, if something isn't the full truth, than really, it's a lie. As you can see, this can get frustrating. If lies follow you everywhere you go, then how can you possibly muster up the strength to trust someone? Thomas has to constantly face this dilemma in his struggles. Whom should he trust? Who is lying? When are they lying? Who is actually on his team?
