Character Analysis
Uday Joshi is the first glimpse we get of high society. He's at the top of the restaurant scene in Mumbai, and Papa and Hassan watch him from afar during one of their outings to Malabar Hill. He dresses to the nines and looks like money; Papa is always jealous of him. Later, his son ends up marrying Hassan's youngest sister Zainab.
