Father Pirrone

Father Pirrone likes to think of himself as a spiritual guide. He is a priest after all. But he gets pretty down on himself whenever he realizes that Prince Fabrizio doesn't listen to his advice. He tries to get Fabrizio to confess to the sin of adultery, but Fabrizio isn't sorry for what he's done, so Pirrone doesn't have a lot of power. Later in the book, though, he gets to put his mentoring skills to good use by getting a husband for his pregnant niece.
