Character Analysis
This guy is evil incarnate, a walking nightmare. He is a new prison guard, transferred from Pretoria, who shows up with a chip on his shoulder and looking for trouble. He spends his time looking for Geel Piet, Doc, or Peekay to slip up, and he gets his chance on the night of Doc's concert.
He tortures Geel Piet to death, and admits it in front of the boxing squad, taking some hits from Captain Smit in the process. The African prisoners find out about this and put some sort of a curse on him that gives him cancer of the rectum, and he dies in the same sort of pain that he inflicted on Geel Piet. How's that for karma?
