Dean Keaton

In his story, Verbal looks up to Keaton…and so do the other criminals. Keaton's a senior figure, a seasoned bad guy with connections inside the police.

But in reality, Verbal doesn't need a mentor—this is just a story he tells Kujan so that Kujan will think Keaton is still manipulating Verbal from behind the scenes. In truth, Verbal's his own mentor; he's someone who already knows what to do.

After all, he's been Keyser Söze for a long time. All he needs is a bulletin board from which he can pull ideas.
