These guys feed info to Kujan at convenient times. Arkosh Kovash reveals the crucial fact that Keyser Söze was at the docks, and that the Argentinean gangsters were trading a snitch to the Hungarians. Baer then relays this information to Kujan.

In addition to providing the office where the interrogation happens, Sgt. Rabin also tells Kujan important things—like the fact that Verbal's being protected by someone who's pulling strings for him in the court system, helping him get immunity.

But neither of them suspect that Verbal is himself the man pulling those strings. In fact, no one does.
