Roger Rabbit (Charles Fleischer)’s Timeline and Summary

Roger Rabbit learns that his wife, Jessica, has been playing patty cake with another man.
He's devastated, but he believes Jessica was set up.
But he swears he didn't kill Marvin Acme, the man whose cake Jessica was patty-ing.
He says Acme was planning on leaving Toontown to the Toons in his will…which has gone missing.
Roger, pursued by Judge Doom and his weasels, begs detective Eddie Valiant to help him uncover the real murderer.
Eddie agrees, and he hides Roger in Dolores' bar.
Roger's unable to resist a joke, and he reveals his location to Judge Doom.
With the help of Eddie and Benny the cab, Roger must flee the bar.
Eddie interrogates R.K. Maroon, who reveals that he set up Jessica. But he says he didn't kill Acme.
After Maroon's shot, Eddie pursues the suspect to Toontown.
Roger's whacked over the head with a frying pan and stuffed in a trunk.
He wakes up and realizes Jessica and Eddie have been captured by Judge Doom.
Roger attempts to rescue them, but he's captured and tied up with Jessica.
Thankfully, Eddie saves the day.
Eddie asks Roger to read a love letter he wrote to Jessica.
It turns out the letter was written on Acme's will, which was scrawled in disappearing, reappearing ink.
Toontown is saved. Well done, everyone.
