[Coop and Dino singing]

00:14

When you hear the word "park," you might think of the one in your neighborhood. [Boy on a swing]

00:17

Y'know, the one with a big lawn, swings, a slide…that kinda thing.

00:21

But there are actually all sorts of parks, which contain all sorts of things, from gardens,

00:26

to roller coasters, to tigers.

00:29

Luckily they're not all in the same park. [Boy on a rollercoaster with a tiger]

00:32

Tigers hate roller coasters.

00:34

One of our favorite parks?

00:36

Water parks!

00:37

These parks contain all sorts of stuff that spray water, offering us a great way to keep [Boy appears from under the water]

00:41

cool on a hot day.

00:42

Bonus?

00:43

These are fun for people and tigers.

00:45

…Okay, maybe that wasn't a bonus. [Tiger chases girl in the pool]

00:48

There are also dog parks.

00:49

These are a great place for dogs to run around and play with each other, without needing

00:52

to be kept on leashes.

00:55

Fun fact: tigers refer to these as snack parks. [Tiger jumps over fence]

00:58

Good thing those gates are locked…

01:00

There are also zoological parks.

01:01

If you're like, "uh, what on earth is a zoological park…" then you might know them better by

01:05

their nickname: zoos. [Gorilla beating chest in a zoo]

01:07

These are great places to see wild animals up close, and learn lots about them.

01:11

And yes, this is probably the only park where you'll actually see a tiger.

01:14

Sorry to break it to you.

01:15

There are also amusement parks.

01:17

These boast all sorts of attractions and rides, like rollercoasters and log flumes. [Group of people on a rollercoaster]

01:21

Know what's not amusing?

01:22

How much a day at one of these parks costs…

01:25

Seriously, a ten dollar hot dog?

01:27

Is it a magic hot dog? [Hotdog vendor holding a hotdog]

01:29

There are historical parks, which are places for people to learn about history in a fun,

01:33

hands-on way.

01:34

Sure, seeing the way settlers used to make maple syrup might not seem as thrilling as [Settler carrying buckets to a fire]

01:39

a roller coaster…

01:40

…but the process does have a very sweet ending.

01:43

And you can't put a roller coaster on pancakes. [A rollercoaster on a stack of pancakes]

01:45

…Well…maybe you can, but…why would you.

01:48

And last but not least, there are community gardens.

01:51

These give members of a local community a place to grow their own food, which they can

01:55

keep for themselves…

01:56

…or sell to others. [Woman selling local apples]

01:57

We don't know if you've ever tried to grow carrots and lettuce in your living room, but

02:00

a community garden's a way better place to do it. [Woman and child in a living room surrounded by plants]

02:03

Trust us.
