Read words with inflectional endings.

Now that first graders are seasoned readers—well, they've got one season under their belts—a few extra letters shouldn't throw them off. Students should be able to recognize and read common inflectional endings like -ed, -er, - est, -ing, and -s in their vocabulary words.
