- Tyler/Jack takes a cab to Marla, but she runs away from him.
- She tells him that she went to the house, but the men hit her with a broom.
- He takes her to a restaurant (don't order the clam chowder!) and she gives him thirty seconds to explain himself to her.
- He apologizes and tells her that he really likes her and cares about her and doesn't want anything bad to happen to her.
- He tells her to leave because her life is in danger.
- She tells him he's full of crap and leaves the restaurant, but he follows her and gives her money to get on a bus, which she does.
