John Kerry. Kerry only made it to the JV level in hockey at Yale, but that's still farther than most. Plus this U.S. Secretary of State played varsity soccer and added a year of JV lacrosse.

Michael Ontkean. Ontkean was the star player in the iconic hockey movie Slap Shot and held his own at the University of New Hampshire, scoring thirty-three goals in two seasons.
