Odds of Getting In
Senior-year stats: one goal, three assists, +/- = -20
You never made it past the junior varsity team in high school, and your lone "goal" happened when you were seven feet away from a defenseman that accidently passed the puck into her own goal. (It also helps that the official scorer that gave you the "goal" was a close relative…)
Senior-year stats: five goals, 11 assists, +/- = -2
You aren't a complete liability on the ice, but you don't add a whole lot to the bottom line, either. Your coach might send you in for a line shift or two if the better players need a breather, but that's about it. However, you might be able to earn a decent supporting role on a Division-III team.
Senior-year stats: 15 goals, 34 assists, +/- = 21
More often than not, the team is successful when you're on the ice. You're not a superstar, but you have the skills to be a solid rotational player on most Div-I squads. With a little work, you could be more.
Senior-year stats: 37 goals, 41 assists, +/- = 65
