Fame
Ah, fame. There's a little adage about rowing fame and it goes like this: Rowers are more famous than cooks in taco trucks, but barely.
Okay, so we made that up.
If you're lucky, you'll be able to be an extra who rows during a scene in an award-winning movie. But it's probably more likely that you'll be known at your college as the super buff lady (or dude, or whatever) that wears tights that don't go all the way down.
However, rowing represents the third-largest U.S. delegation to the Olympics (source), so there's a chance you could make history. Is that better than making delicious tacos?
We'll get back to you on that.
