College rugby is an up-and-coming sport in the U.S.—in fact, it's one of the fastest-growing team sports in the country (source). Unfortunately, there simply aren't enough NCAA teams for any kind of internal competition.

But don't panic—instead of making you sit in the bleachers, the NCAA just has its players go up against non-NCAA varsity teams. You'll be taken under the protective wing of USA Rugby and enjoy national tournaments in all divisions and in sevens (source). You won't get much in the way of fame, since rugby's still not a terribly popular sport…but at least you'll get to compete, right?
