Poor Theo
Theodore Szpirglas is the son of the infamous pirate captain, although he probably isn't aware of who his father really is. All he knows is that his mom died while giving birth to him, and he loves his dad, who tells him wonderful stories while holding him on his lap.
Theo's purpose in our tale is to humanize Captain Szpirglas, and he does a great job of it with his trusting little face.
