Blevins and John

While John is ultimately sympathetic to Blevins and regrets his passing, Blevins is in many ways John's opposite. He is petulant, self-indulgent, prideful, loud, prone to lies and rash action, and endangers others. His unpredictable and difficult nature highlights John's steadiness, as well as his compassion.
