Frank McCourt

Frank's the star of the show. He's our narrator (and author) and it's through his eyes that we experience the world. Throughout his journey, we'll see Frank break out of his miserable circumstances and travel to a new country full of promise and dreams. As the other major positive character, not to mention title character, Angela's definitely another candidate for protagonist, but we're staying on Team Frankie.
