Evelyn Mulwray

Evelyn doesn't immediately turn Jake on (or maybe she does—it's hard to say). She's mysterious enough, an apparent femme fatale who's had many affairs and might've killed her husband.

But, as Jake gets to know her better, he can't help jumping into bed with her…even though he still thinks she might've committed the murder. Jake also tries to help her escape—his truest expression of love for her—but ultimately can't come through.
