What's up with the love interest also being the antagonist? Robert Lovelace isn't the type to fit into boxes. He's devilishly charming (with an emphasis on the devil) even as he puts Clarissa through the worst trial of her life. Even though Clarissa wants to save Lovelace from himself, he exploits her every weak spot. When that doesn't work, he takes his bad-boy game to the lowest level possible. The dude has some majorly bad karma coming his way.
