General Turgidson (George C. Scott)’s Timeline and Summary

While hanging out with his mistress, the General gets the news about Plan R.
The General lays out the details of the crisis to the President.
He advises the President to nuke the crap out of the U.S.S.R. before they can retaliate.
Turgidson gets in lots of tiffs with the Soviet Ambassador.
In the end, he's excited by the prospect of monogamy being abandoned in America's new mineshaft future, but still paranoid that the Russians will build their own mineshafts and out-breed everyone else.
