Lt. Zogg (James Earl Jones)

Character Analysis

Lieutenant Lothar Zogg is the bombardier of Kong's B-52. What's a bombardier? He's the guy who locates the target and releases the bombs. Even though Zogg's whole purpose on the bomber is to target bombs, he's the only one who questions whether deadly Plan R code might be some kind of loyalty test, to see of a crew would actually follow such deadly instructions.

Incidentally, Zogg is played by a very young James Earl Jones in his first film role. Did you recognize him? It took us a hot sec too.
