Jocelyn / Sophia

Even though Gemma doesn't remember being with her mother, it's clear through the visions she experiences that Jocelyn loved her endlessly and would do anything to protect her and feel cherished. This is completely different from the way that Gemma has been raised under Sophia's roof. Sophia hardly talks to her and doesn't show any sort of affection; in fact, she's almost hostile with Gemma whenever she makes a bid for attention or love. Jocelyn and Sophia are both guardian figures to Gemma, but she feels a greater connection with her real mother despite only getting to be with her for four years.
