Stephan

When Gemma first hears about Stephan, he sounds like the good guy in the story. After all, he's the leader of the Keepers and is Alex and Aislin's father; they trust him completely and are acting on his instructions all the time. But as Gemma learns more about Stephan—from Laylen, from her visions of him pushing her mother into the lake, and from her nightmares of him leading the Death Walkers to her—she starts thinking that he might not be as good as his kids think. And in the end, when he leads the Death Walkers to Gemma and starts removing her soul and her mind, Gemma suspects that her worst fears have come true.
