How It All Goes Down
Ramora
- This silver fish is super-valuable because it can anchor ships and guard sailors at sea.
- The International Confederation of Wizards has lots of laws in place to protect this little magical beastie.
Red Cap
- The creatures look kind of like dwarves and make their homes in holes on old battlegrounds. They like any place where human blood has been spilled. Gross.
- Wizards can get rid of them easily enough, but if a Red Cap will try to kill Muggles if they come across them alone at night.
Re'em
- Re'em are like huge oxen with fancy golden hides.
- If you drink their blood it will make you really strong, but it's also pretty tough to get your hands on them.
Runespoor
- This three-headed serpent is bright orange, which makes it pretty easy for Muggles to spot, so the local Ministry of Magic has had to go to great lengths to hide it.
- Wizards who speak Parselmouth have talked to the snake and found out a few things about it. The snake's left head plans what the Runespoor is going to do next. The middle head dreams about what's to come. The right head is the critical one and is constantly commenting what the left and middle head are doing.
- In fact, sometimes you'll see Runespoors with the right head missing. The left and middle head just got sick of its constant critiques.
- The Runespoor is also the only magical creature that lays eggs through its mouth. Interesting.
