- In Isengard, Saruman is talking to his chief Uruk-hai. We see he now has a battalion of them.
- He tells him that orc were originally elves that were warped and corrupted.
- He sends this Uruk-hai and his Uruk-hai brethren on a quest to find and kill the fellowship… except for the hobbits, who he wants brought to him alive.
