If you said that Harry Potter has a few fans…that would be a bit of an understatement.

Pottermania has been sweeping the globe since the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, was released in 1997. And the film series has definitely brought the books to a wider audience. (What can we say? Reading is hard sometimes.)

So in addition to seven books and eight movies, J.K. Rowling also produced a play called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which was all about Harry Potter in his later years. (Hey, the Boy Who Lived had to become the Guy Who Grew Old someday.)

She's also writing screenplays for a series of films based on the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. If the fans want more wizards, you give it to them, right?

Today, you can also experience the magic of Hogwarts firsthand at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Sure, it's a theme park in Florida, but for a few hours to get to fly on a broomstick, fight off dementors, and drink a pumpkin juice in Diagon Alley. Just watch out for the fire-breathing dragon. He's just escaped from Gringotts and he's angry.

If you want to gather with other fans and geek out, there are always conferences like Leaky Con. There, you'll see attendees dressed in awesome Harry Potter inspired costumes.

You can also catch some of our favorite wizard rock bands. (We really dig Harry and the Potters: check out their Chamber of Secrets-based song, "Save Ginny Weasley" and get ready to rock your socks off…and then hand them to Dobby, of course.)

If you want to find some Potter love closer to home, lot of cities have local Harry Potter festivals. Many colleges have also started up their own Quidditch teams.

But maybe you don't want to leave the house to enjoy your love of Harry Potter? We've got you covered. You can explore fan sites like The Leaky Cauldron or Mugglenet. And, of course, there's always fan fiction. Have fun reading and writing it (but watch out… some of it is not so suitable for second-year students at Hogwarts).

So, not only can you find out which Hogwarts house you belong in, you can be sorted into your Ilvermorny house, too. Oh, look! We got Thunderbird! Now we feel awesome.
