How we cite our quotes: All quotations are from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
Quote #1
HARRY: And what do you know about the Deathly Hallows?
OLLIVANDER: It is rumored there are three: The Elder Wand, the Cloak of Invisibility, to hide you from your enemies, and the Resurrection Stone, to bring back loved ones from the dead. Together, they make one the Master of Death. But, few truly believe that such objects exist.
HARRY: Do you? Do you believe they exist, sir?
OLLIVANDER: Well, I see no reason to put stock into an old wives' tale.
HARRY: You're lying. You know one exists. You told him about it. You told him about the Elder Wand, and where he could go looking for it.
OLLIVANDER: He tortured me. Besides, I only conveyed rumors. There's…there's no telling whether he will find it.
HARRY: He has found it, sir. We'll let you rest.
OLLIVANDER: He's after you, Mr. Potter. If it's true, what you say, that he has the Elder Wand, I'm afraid you really don't stand a chance.
This is early in the movie, and it's already not looking good for Harry. There are these things called Deathly Hallows that supposedly can make you the "master of death," and Voldemort has one of them. And the one he has is the most powerful magical weapon in the world. Five minutes into the movie and we're already stressed.
Quote #2
LUNA: Harry Potter, you listen to me right now! Do you remember what Cho said about Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem? There is not a person alive who's seen it. It's obvious, isn't it? We have to talk to someone who's dead.
When Harry realizes that Voldemort has a Horcrux is hidden somewhere in Hogwarts, Luna helps him to realize that it's probably Rowena Ravenclaw's lost diadem. Then, she gives him a second assist when she tells him to ask the Grey Lady about the diadem's whereabouts.
Quote #3
NEVILLE: You haven't seen Luna, have you?
HARRY: Luna?
NEVILLE: I'm mad for her. I think it's about time I told her—since we'll probably both be dead by dawn.
Aw, that would be really heartwarming if Neville, well, weren't afraid of imminent death. But hey, at least it's showing him his priorities, right?
