The PTBT: Bilingual Edition
- Since the original parties were English- and Russian-speaking nations, the PTBT is written in both languages. Therefore, both languages are equally official and legally binding.
- Original copies of the treaty will be housed in the archives of the U.S., the U.K., and Soviet governments.
- All parties will receive their own official copy.
- Finally, the treaty is officially signed on August 5th, 1963, by representatives of the original parties.
- The representative of the original parties are U.S. Secretary of State Dean Rusk, British Foreign Secretary Alec Douglas-Home, and Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko.
