King Westley and Shapeley vs. Peter

Next to these two good-for-nothings, Peter looks like the perfect man. He's got none of King Westley's self-centeredness (even if his ego is "colossal," as Ellie understandably complains). And unlike Shapeley, Peter has a spine; he stands up to those who stand in his way, whether they're bus drivers or bosses. With their obvious vices, both King Westley and Shapeley serve to highlight Peter's virtues.
