Character Analysis
Aunt Carrol (not to be confused with Aunt March) is, as her name suggests, the March girls' aunt and the mother of their cousin Florence, also known as Flo. Impressed by Amy's good manners and artistic talents, Aunt Carrol and her husband take Amy along with Flo on a European tour. Aunt Carrol doesn't have a very well-developed character – she's really just there to provide the opportunity for Amy to travel.
