Nefret

Nefret is confident, beautiful, and powerful. She takes on the official role of mentoring Zoey when Zoey arrives at the House of Night, plus Zoey looks up to her because of her aforementioned awesomeness. Other than inspiring Zoey to try to provide leadership that will benefit all the fledglings, Nefret tends to take a hands-off approach, which might actually be for the best, since Zoey gets occasional instincts about not trusting Nefret with certain information.

Grandma Redbird

Grandma Redbird is the one who brings Zoey to the House of Night when she's deathly ill after being Marked. She's also the one who advises Zoey to do a purification ritual and ask Nyx for guidance when the situation with Aphrodite is getting sticky. Grandma Redbird, in other words, cares about Zoey's welfare and helps Zoey move forward with wisdom and compassion.
