Carla Jean Moss (Kelly Macdonald)’s Timeline and Summary

Carla Jean wants to know where her husband Llewellyn has gotten a briefcase and pistol after returning from a day out. He's reluctant to give answers, so Carla Jean backs off.
Next thing Carla Jean knows, Llewellyn is telling her to pack her things and get ready to go stay at her mother's place. Carla Jean knows that Llewellyn has found two million dollars, and even though she's worried she agrees to his plan.
Carla Jean meets with Sheriff Ed Tom to say that she doesn't know where Llewellyn has gone with the drug money buuuuut she's pretty confident that he can take whatever comes his way though.
As time passes, Carla Jean decides that Llewellyn might be in over his head. She heads to the El Paso airport and calls Sheriff Ed Tom and tells him where Llewellyn is. But it's too late.
Now a widow, Carla Jean has to attend the funeral of her mother who's just died from cancer. When she returns home she finds Anton Chigurh waiting to kill her.
She rejects Chigurh's offer to flip a coin for her life, forcing him to decide what to do. We never actually see her die, but the film strongly hints toward it.
