How It All Goes Down
- Through the window, Margo Roth Spiegelman tells Quentin that she needs eleven things tonight "and at least five of them involve a getaway man" (1.2.9).
- Quentin refuses to help, and while Margo is trying to convince him, her dad (Mr. Roth Spiegelman) yells at her from next door.
- "Back in a minute" (1.2.27), she tells Quentin, and hops out the window.
- Quentin decides to help her anyway, and he gets the keys to the minivan.
- They roll out into the neighborhood, and Margo says their first stop is grocery shopping.
- "This is going to be the best night of your life" (1.2.53), she says, because she's about to fulfill every teen's dream: grocery shopping in the middle of the night.
