Liana

Only Andre has a straight-up, wise teacher mentor: his dance teacher, Liana. She sees his talent and even asks him to help teach classes to children. When Andre's fellow dance student Shantell tells him he'll be sorry if he doesn't follow his dream, Liana agrees—she also suggests that Andre and Shantell dance together at an audition for a dance-competition show and choreographs their piece. When Andre is ambivalent about going to the callback, Liana tells him to make up his mind soon, because she has to get to work on choreographing his solo. It's the nudge he needs.
