From the moment Sabriel spots Touchstone, it's easy to see that he's going to have some kind of major romantic role in her life. She's instantly captivated by his looks and mystified by his past. And let's be honest for a minute, here: Wyverley College is an all-girls school, so Touchstone is the first guy Sabriel's really interacted with as an adult. No wonder her hormones are throwing a party. Touchstone, good guy that he is, turns out to be a worthy partner for Sabriel, and there are no real problems that plague their romance once sparks start to fly.
