Dolores Price knows how easy it is to gorge yourself on junk food. You open up a box of Thin Mints or Twinkies or a bag of Doritos, and next thing you know the whole thing is gone… along with the carton of Ben and Jerry's in the freezer and the six-pack of Sam Adams in the fridge. Oops. And the language in She's Come Undone goes down just as easily. This, however, doesn't mean the situations are easy on the stomach. Some of the things that happen to Dolores—and, honestly, some of the terrible acts she commits herself—are pretty tough to swallow.
She's Come Undone may be popular fiction, but it has something to say, too. It's good junk food, like, um, like a salad at Wendy's or a smoothie at McDonald's. It may or may not be good for you, but man, you just can't get enough of it.
