- Lena is at the party, clad in the Pants. Kostos lives up to the hype, and he is totally a good-looking, college-bound football player—but it doesn't really matter, since Lena doesn't trust boys farther than she can throw them.
- She doesn't need boys to tell her she's beautiful—she already knows that—so while Kostos is pleasant enough, and seems interested in her, Lena isn't biting. He asks her to go for a walk to check out the Ammoudi village, but she's all no thanks. She's a tough sell, this one.
- Now over to Bridget. She's at soccer camp, and majorly crushing on a coach named Eric Richman, who is a sophomore player at Columbia. Impressive.
- It's against camp policy for coaches and campers to date, plus Bridget is way too young for Eric—she doesn't seem to care about any of this though.
- She writes to Carmen and tells her she is smitten with Coach Eric.
