Kris Kelvin Timeline and Summary

Kelvin gets a PhD in psychology related to Solaris studies.
His work gets some press attention, and brings him to the attention of Gibarian.
On Earth, Kelvin marries Rheya.
He leaves her (perhaps not for good?) and she kills herself.
Kelvin travels to Solaris to meet with Gibarian on Solaris station.
He arrives and discovers that Gibarian is dead, having killed himself.
The scientists have been receiving "visitors," projections based on their inner thoughts that are apparently generated by the Solaris ocean.
A construct of Rheya comes to Kelvin. He shoots her into space.
Another construct of Rheya comes; this time, Kelvin falls in love with her.
The other scientists figure out how to banish the constructs.
Rheya has figured out that she is not the real Rheya, and gets the scientists to destroy her.
Kelvin grieves.
