Throughout The Circle, Dave Eggers suggests that part of the problem with the Circle's company model is that it encourages groupthink. By encouraging Circlers to spend more and more time on campus with each other and less and less time with the outside world, the Circle's executives help to ensure that the company's employees are primed to accept whatever passes for knowledge and wisdom within their closed-off, isolated sphere.
