Character Role Analysis

Gandhi

Wait, how can Gandhi be the antagonist? He's definitely not a bad guy like President Snow in The Hunger Games. He's a leader, a philosopher, and an all-around awesome dude.

But, here's the thing: the only person who can break one of Gandhi's vows is Gandhi himself. To stick with brahmacharya or a vegetarian diet, Gandhi has to restrain himself, and so it is in this sense that he could be considered his own antagonist.

Of course, because it's Gandhi we're talking about, good triumphs over evil.
